Fun at the Rec Center

What a fun time we had at the Washington Rec Center. We have only gone in the summer before and it is so crowded you have to wait forever to go on the water slide and you are always bumping into people. Not today we practically had the pool all to ourselves. Jimmy and Taylor got to go down the slide until they were tired of it. After we finished at the pool we noticed the rock wall was empty. I found out that Jen loves to rock climb. Jimmy and Jen were eager to do it and Taylor was willing and excited to try. At first she tried to do it herself, but it was hard for her to know where to put her hands and feet, so her dad went up with her and she made it all the way to the top. She showed such courage and determination. She had a great big smile on her face when she got to the top. Way to go, Taylor!!!!

After climbing the wall Carter was all ready to play basketball. He wanted to have fun, too. Of course dad was all for it. Luckily the court was empty and they played. It was so much fun to watch Jimmy play with the kids. He is so good with them and so patient. Everyone was tired when we left the center. And we know now to go in the winter.

Emma's Blessing

Our little angel, Emma. She is our gift from heaven.
Emma sure had a big day on Sunday, January 3, 2010. We must of had 40 people at our home to celebrate her blessing. She had her grandparents from Idaho which made the day even more special. Family and friends from everywhere. It was a beautiful day. I am so grateful to everyone who made the effort to come. I know it wasn't easy. We could not have started the new year off any better.

She has a smile that lights up the room.

Who could ask for a more wonderful granddaughter than Taylor. She is so sweet that she glows. She will be a wonderful mother someday.
