Our Sweet Taylor is 8 Years Old

How the years have passed. Our first born granddaughter is now 8 years old and getting ready to be baptized. It has been 8 amazing years having Taylor in our lives. She is so full of love and has such tender feelings. Carter could not have a better big sister. We love everything about her. We were so lucky on Saturday to get to watch Taylor play volleyball. She is a very good server. Grandpa and I are so lucky to have her as a granddaughter. After watching her play volleyball we all went to Olive Garden for lunch. Everyone was filled to the top and then the waitress brought a yummy cake for Taylor. It was perfect. Jan and I kept commenting on how lucky we are to have such a wonderful family. After lunch we all went to Costco so that Taylor could pick out what she wanted for her birthday. She fell in love with a container full of colors and a cool book she could write her own story.

WOW!!! What a great server!!!!
A proud daddy with his daughter.

Carter Makes a Goal!!!!

We were so lucky to get to go to Carter's soccer game on Saturday. He made the only goal for his team. You should have seen the grin on his face from ear to ear. He was so excited. I think I was even more excited. I almost missed the shot cheering for him. He is so sweet to his cousin, Logan. He constantly loves him and is so patient with him. The smile on Carter's face is how he always is. What a joy he is in my life.

Our Little Angel

I have to be the luckiest grandma in the world to be able to come home to this little angel everyday. She is the kind of baby you see on TV. She rarely cries, she loves to be held and cuddled, when you lay her down she is happy and content. Emma loves to look at the world. She brings me such an overwhelming amount of joy each day. I am blessed.

This is a picture of Emma getting her first sponge bath. She is not old enough yet for a regular bath.

Emma Nichole Avery our newest granddaughter

What a happy family. Emma finally made her arrival after her mom was in labor for 16 hours. Emma decided to do it the hard way for the both of them. She came sunny side up which caused her poor little head and face to be bruised so bad. She cries whenever you touch her head. So far she has been the perfect baby except for the fact she is too content to eat. Emma was born on November 7, 2009 at 8:44 pm. She was 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 1/2 long.
Oh, Emma your poor little head. I love you.
One proud papa.
You are so cute. I want to cover you in kisses.
What a beautiful mother you have Emma. Like mother like daughter. I love you both.

Jimmy and Jen's Wedding Day

Jimmy and Jennifer Lindell
What a beautiful couple.
They wanted a simple wedding with just close friends and family and their dream came true. The day started cold and cloudy. We were all concerned how the day would turn out, but by noon the sun was shining and it was warming up. The tables and chairs came, everyone quickly set them up and within an hour the backyard was transformed into a beautiful oasis. I don't think the day could have been more perfect.
What a sweet family.
I so wanted a family picture. We tried hard, but the sun was not cooperating. I love my family.

If it wasn't for Michele, Jennifer would not have her princess dress. Michele, you are so amazing.
I love my grandchildren. Carter with the big smile, Taylor the little mother, Logan off in his world, and Abigail just happy to be held and loved.
Taylor is the most special granddaughter a grandmother could have.
This is the man who worked so hard to make the back yard so special for Jen and Jimmy. Jan, you are one talented man.
A happy mother and grandmother.

My special little Carter. Always so full of fun.

A loving mother looking at her wonderful daughter.
Father and son.
The happy couple.
Tara the girl who made this all possible because she chose to come back to the gospel. I cannot ever thank you enough.
Being married by the man who said, "Don't worry he is in my hand." I can never thank you enough Bishop Holland for being a man of your word.
A beautiful cake made by Jen's sister Jamaca.
Two people in love.
Happy parents with happy children.

Elizabeth's Spooktackular Baby Shower

My beautiful sweet daughter is going to be a mother. I hope and pray that her daughter will love her and be as close to her as she has always been to me. You are going to be an amazing mom.

These three ladies worked so hard to make Elizabeth's shower perfect. Jessica gave up her Saturday to work so hard. Veva and Lisa have been my dear friends and visiting teachers for so many years. They are a blessing in my life.
Everything was decorated inside and out. It was so cute. We are lucky to have such wonderful friends who made everything perfect.

We had such yummy food made by so many people. We had eyeballs, fingers, bones, witches brew, and brains. Amanda made everything look so cute.

The Callahan clan came. What a wonderful family. Monique came dressed so nerdish. What was up with that. Oh, maybe it was Halloween. I loved the outfit. She even had toilet paper coming out of her shoe. I love the girl.
Michele made the adorable outfits Beau and Blake had on and she also made her and Amanda's costume.
Joscyln was the cutest little pumpkin of the day.

Maureen wore all the things we wore on our Breast Cancer Walk in Philadelphia. Cool outfit.
So many dear friends came to spend this special day with Elizabeth.
