Christmas 2009 in St. George

What a fun time everyone had building with our magnets. I bought a new set to add to the ones we already had and boy did everyone enjoy themselves. What a great toy.
Are these just the cutest boys in the whole world. I love you Carter and Logan!!!!
We all went to Blvd Home Furnishings to watch Santa come in on a helicopter.
Carter had such a hard time seeing in the sun. He also had a hard time seeing through the crowd. Thank you Grandpa for helping him see.
Hi, Santa. Lets go get a picture with him.
While you are standing in line waiting to take a picture with Santa what else should you do but take pictures. Logan is so funny. Every time I try to take his picture he turns his head. Well we solved that problem. Thanks, Johnny and Elizabeth.

After waiting for about 20 minutes and finally getting to sit on Santa's lap Logan wanted nothing to do with him. I have never seen a child so terrified of Santa. Abigail was very happy to sit on his lap. Hopefully Logan will like Santa next year.
What a fun thing the Blvd offered. Free pictures with Santa. They gave everyone a free 5 by 7 framed and they allowed me to take my own pictures.
Little Emma was very content to sit on Santa's lap. She seems to like Santa just fine.
Everybody who had their picture taken with Santa was given a yo-yo. A really cool one that lit up. Jimmy is walking the dog with his yo-yo. Logan is just loving it.
The boys love to wrestle with Johnny. Look at Abigail in the back just sleeping through it all.

That evening we all went to see the lights at the temple. Before going we stopped at Maverick and everyone got a hot chocolate so we would be warm as we walked around. The funny thing is that it was such a warm night we hardly even needed our coats. What a good night to walk around.
What sweet families.

I love my grandkids!!!! They always put a smile on my face.

After we finished at the temple. I went back to the house with Jen and Taylor. I took them to see the most amazing decorated house in St. George. It was even more special than usual. Santa was visiting. Taylor was so cute. When Santa asked her what she wanted she said she just wanted a surprise. She is the cutest girl.

We celebrate Christmas the weekend before Christmas, but somehow Santa still finds us. Taylor and Carter opened presents at their dads before coming over to Grandma's and Grandpa's.

The boys loved the sled. They thought they were super heroes on their Silver Surfer.
Jimmy surprised Jen by going early each morning to make her end tables. He did a great job.
Johnny, Amber, Logan, and Abigail Lindell
Abigail, you are such a sweet little girl. She is a princess.
Taylor, Jen, Jimmy and Carter Lindell
Who can resist Emma. Grandma cannot!!!
Matt, Elizabeth and Emma Avery
To end our celebration we had a party for Great Grandma Lindell. She turned 84. She had a special surprise. Jac and Petra came and spend the afternoon with her.

Happy birthday Great Grandma.
It was a wonderful weekend. I love my family. Christmas is all about family.
